"Dracula Must Die!" is the 19th episode from the seventh season of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Summary[]
A vampire hunter named Lionel Van Helsing prepares to kill Dracula, but is stopped by Grim, Billy and Mandy -- Mandy, while acknowledging that Dracula's obviously no saint, argues that that the senile old vampire is basically harmless and questions why Van Helsing hates him so much. Van Helsing then explains the reason for his hatred of Dracula to her and the others: he and Dracula were best friends in their youth, but one day, Dracula used his irresistible dance moves to (unintentionally) steal the woman of Lionel's dreams and married her -- Lionel was heartbroken and vowed to get revenge on Dracula for what he did.
Billy and Mandy are surprised to discover that Dracula was actually married at one point and wonder whatever could've happened to his wife. They and Grim become even more surprised when it turns out that Dracula's wife is none other than Irwin's paternal grandmother, Tanya (better known as "Grandmama"). But then Tanya reveals something that shocks everyone present: not only is Count Dracula her husband, but he's also the father of her son, Dick (which, in turn, means that Dracula is Irwin's paternal grandfather -- or, as Irwin would like to call him, "Grandpapa").
When Dick questions his mother on why she never revealed this to him and the rest of the family, Tanya claims that she didn't want her son to be hurt by his father abandoning them. Dracula's offended by this and explains what really caused him to leave her and their son: one night, sometime after Dick was born, Dracula used his transformation power to turn himself into a bat and flew into the house to grab something from the fridge -- Tanya, not realizing the bat was actually her husband, attacked him. Dracula soon ran off, not wanting to risk getting himself hurt (and potentially killed) by Tanya.
Tanya's surprised by this and apologizes to Dracula, who's ultimately disappointed by her aged appearance and their descendants being nerds. Looking on to Dracula's plight, Van Helsing realizes that very well could've ended up happening to him had he be the one to end up with Tanya instead of Dracula. As a result, Lionel (deciding that he's better off than Dracula) lets go of his anger/hunger for revenge and struts out of the warehouse, with Dracula now begging Van Helsing to kill him, unsatisfied with his newfound situation.
That night, Dracula's eating dinner with his family when he expresses the desire to put more salt in his potatoes--Tanya tells him not to, pointing out that his doctor told him that he needs to cut back on salt in his diet. Dracula protests this, but Tanya ultimately intimidates him into obeying. Dick is amazed by his mother forcing Dracula to do something as Irwin smiles at the new development.

Trivia[]
- While it's not confirmed, it's possible that -- assuming she never remarried after Dracula initially left her -- Tanya ultimately raised her son, Dick (who resembled Irwin in his infancy), as a single parent.
- Also, Dick (before learning the truth) claims that Tanya had always told him that his dad had been the navigator on a spice freighter.
- More about Irwin's family is revealed.
- His paternal grandmother's first name is revealed to be Tanya.
- Since Dracula is Dick's father, this would make Dick a dhampyr (a vampire/human hybrid, much like Dennis from the Hotel Transylvania movies).
- Since Irwin's mother is a mummy and his paternal grandparents consist of a vampire and a human, this means that Irwin's only 1/4-human (since he's half-mummy through his mom's side). Irwin's supernatural heritage could also be an explanation for his frequent survival throughout the series.
- Also, even though Irwin's only 1/4-vampire, he's still weakened by garlic (though obviously not as much as a full-blooded vampire would be), because after Tanya reveals that Dracula's her husband/Dick's father/Irwin's paternal grandfather, Irwin tries using this newfound information to impress Mandy (and even try kissing her), but Mandy sprays him in the face (twice!) with some garlic butter, which burns Irwin,
- Lionel Van Helsing's last name is an obvious reference to the Van Helsing family of vampire hunters.
