The Delightful Reaper is the main antagonist of the TV special The Grim Adventures of the Kids Next Door.
History[]
The Delightful Reaper was created by an accidental fusion of The Delightful Children From Down the Lane and Billy from a Delightfulization Chamber with Grim's scythe and Harold's lucky pants (the lucky pants are lucky because they are immune to lasers, supernatural energy and mustard).
As the Delightful Children admire their Delightfulization Chamber, Billy (while wearing Harold's lucky pants and Grim's scythe) mistakes the chamber for a bathroom and walks right in. The Delightful Children go after Billy into the chamber to try pulling him out, but Billy accidentally activates the machine, fusing them all together and causing a giant explosion, from the wreckage of the Delightfulization Chamber, the Delightful Reaper is born.
They soon begin to roam around Endsville, swinging their scythe around and assimilating every kid in their path, with them growing in size each time and the skulls of their victims being added to their hoodie, all talking in unison exactly how the Delightful Children speak. After many reapings all throughout the globe, they turn gigantic, and their skeleton skulls morph into Grim's face.
As they rampage through town, Mandy along with Numbuhs 3 and 4 drop down in the M.A.N.D.R.O.B.O.T. to stop them, and an epic battle begins... Though the Reaper wipes the floor with the giant robot, as Harold's lucky pants made them immune to the bot's attacks. However just as they're about to assimilate them, Grim and Numbuh 1 show up having fused into a giant skeleton samurai, and the true epic battle begins.
Though just like the Reaper's previous opponent, they're overpowered by them and are about got get assimilated. The M.A.N.D.R.O.B.O.T. then walks towards them... and intentinonally catches the Reaper's attention to get assimilated as well. Turns out it was all part of Mandy's plan, as the Delightful Reaper gets taken over by her evil power and the face morphs into her face (In a similar way to how she took over the Brain-Eating Meteor after her brain was eaten).
But before she's able to do anything, Billy's dad appears angrily demanding the return of his lucky pants, and leaps to the height of the giant monster's waistline, pulling off their pants and rendering it vulnerable. Grim and Numbuh 1 then strike the Delightful Reaper right on the butt! Destroying it and releasing all of the assimilated kids that composed them.

Trivia[]
- After Billy interrupts their unison speaking once again, the Delightful Reaper says "Would you stop that!? Oh, I wish i had never assimilated you in the first place!", despite the fact that he was part of the Delightful Reaper when it was first formed.
- The last characters the Delightful Reaper assimilated were the pilots of the M.A.N.D.R.O.B.O.T., which were Numbuh 3, Numbuh 4 and Mandy, the latter of which took over as the main host.
- As the Delightful Reaper crumbled to bits, several children from other Cartoon Network shows can be seen flying out of them along with kids from Codename: Kids Next Door and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
- When the Delightful Reaper went through Endsville, several characters from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Codename: Kids Next Door were seen all around, including Tommy Gilligan about to fight Sperg when he was bullying Pud'n, and two groups of girls at a playground fighting over whether Rainbow Monkeys or Sassy Cats are better. Before the Delightful Reaper assimilated them all.
- Whenever someone gets assimilated into the Delightful Reaper, their clothing and footwear are left behind (but not their hair, glasses, caps, bows, or headgear). However, once the Reaper disassembles, all of its victims are shown fully clothed, implying that the previous predicament was done simply for dramatic effect.
- The Delightful Reaper is very similar to Alpha from the second Cartoon Network crossover special, Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United.
- Strangely, the DCFDTL and Sector V's skulls are shaped like Grim's head when inside the Reaper, whereas the other characters retain their head shapes.
- There is a concept art picture where the Delightful Reaper is drawn without the lucky pants.
