Nigel Planter and the Order of the Peanuts is the 21st episode from season 7 of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Plot[]
Grim, Billy and Mandy go to a magical prank shop, only to realize that Nigel is the owner. When they ask why, Nigel replies that he got kicked out of Toadblatt's, due to his wand finger giving out. Just as the trio are about to leave, Nigel uses a joy buzzer to steal Grim's scythe and go to Toadblatts to get revenge on those who abandoned him.
After a few failed attempts, Grim, Billy and Mandy get Lord Moldybutt to help them get to Toadblatt's to stop Nigel. They arrive there and retrieve Grim's scythe. - The episode name is a a reference to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
- Dean Toadblatt's change in voice actor and physical appearance is obviously a reference to Michael Gambon replacing Richard Harris as the role of Dumbledore in the Harry Potter following Harris' death. Coincidentally, Dean Toadblatt's original voice actor, John Vernon died not too long during season five.
- The scene where Billy eats exploding gum in the prank store is a reference to the "SpongeBob SquarePants" episode, Pranks a Lot.
- Grim complains about why people keep stealing his scythe, but a few episodes ago, he said he stopped caring about it. Ironically, this is the last episode where his scythe gets stolen.
- Nigel's parents are said to be dead, but Nigel's father was shown alive in Nigel's previous appearance.
- However, he may have died sometime after the episode.
- Nigel's inheritance also explains why he only talks to snacks in the previous "Nigel Platter" episode.
- However, he may have died sometime after the episode.
- The episode begins and ends with Grim giving a can of peanuts to someone (Billy at the beginning, Dean Toadblatt at the end). Both receivers have a hard time opening the can and Grim has to open the can for them, only to suffer the effects of his own prank.
